Perioperative Surgical Home model of care featured on KevinMD.com

In the article, ASA President Randall M. Clark, M.D., FASA, and Robert Shakar, M.D., FASA, chair of the ASA Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH) Steering Committee, wrote about how the PSH tackles today’s pressing health care issues. “By bringing the PSH model — along with information on how to customize it — to health care teams everywhere, it will help to assist health care organizations with achieving better care, decreasing costs, and improving outcomes in every community in the country,” they wrote.
