At ASA, we want all employees to feel the sense of belonging that comes with knowing that your unique background and perspectives are respected and valued. Diversity in the way we look, think, learn, and live makes everything ASA does better. Our policies, culture, and people reinforce this commitment every day.
ASA encourages all employees to actively embrace our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies and principles in all that we do to deliver ASA's mission: We all share the responsibility to make ASA the best place to work based on principles of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Working at ASA provides many opportunities to learn, grow, and participate in activities and programs related to DEI. We have four employee resource groups (LGBTQIA+ Forum, Multicultural Resource Group, Parents ERG, and Women’s ERG) that all staff are welcome to join, a DEI Staff Committee that is responsible for holding ASA accountable to its DEI strategy and Celebration of Diversity Committee, that promotes a welcoming and inclusive environment where we can celebrate different cultures. We also offer both live and online learning opportunities.
All individuals are welcome at ASA, and all individuals, regardless of race, color, age, national origin, sex, transgender status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, religion, disability, genetic information, marital status, political affiliation, status as a parent, or those who have engaged in prior Equal Employment Opportunity activities, and will be treated with respect and dignity.
