The Michigan Board of Medicine is comprised of 19 voting members.
Physician anesthesiologists are strongly encouraged to seek out appointments for various regulatory agencies to protect and promote patient safety. Given the range of issues considered by state boards of medicine, osteopathy, nursing, health and/or insurance, physician anesthesiologists are extremely valuable as questions concerning patient centered, physician-led care arise.
ASA congratulates and thanks Dr. Lewis for his service and dedication to patient safety in Michigan!
