LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020 Update

ASA has continued to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation, and in alignment with CDC guidelines, has decided to cancel LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020.  This was an extremely difficult decision given the importance and impact of the Conference, but it was made with the health and safety of our membership and patients in mind.  While we will not have an in-person presence on Capitol Hill this May, please know that our advocacy team continues to work on behalf of the specialty with lawmakers and their staff.  In lieu of our in-person Legislative Conference, ASA will be looking at options for holding a virtual style meeting or activity in its place.  

If you have already registered for LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020, ASA staff will be in touch regarding processing a refund.  Please contact the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill to cancel any existing hotel reservations.  If you have a related meeting scheduled in conjunction with LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE 2020, please be in touch with your Committee Chair or coordinator about whether the meeting will be virtual, postponed, or cancelled.
