Seniors Group Takes Action to Preserve Physician-Led Anesthesia Care

On Friday, July 24, the 60+ American Association of Senior Citizens, a group representing seniors, took action to preserve physician-led anesthesia care.  In the association’s July 24^th letter to CMS Administrator Seema Verma, 60+ urged CMS to allow the waiver of the anesthesia supervision requirement to expire and to preserve the team-based model of care in Medicare-approved facilities.
