This refresher course lecture will highlight theoretical risks with imaging techniques commonly used in the perioperative setting, non-OR anesthesia, and the pain clinic. The refresher course will focus on the theoretical risks of ultrasound imaging in regional anesthesia and recommendations on minimizing exposure to ionizing radiation in the fluoroscopy suite.
