Physicians Encouraged to Review Their 2015 Physician Compare Measures
Beginning on October 12, 2016, physicians will have 30 days to preview their 2015 performance scores, which will be displayed on
Physician Compare through the Provider Quality Information Portal. The review period will allow clinicians and group practices to preview their performance scores for select 2015 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) measures and Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems for PQRS measures before they are reported publicly late this year. PQRS measures 44, 76 and 193, the most commonly reported measures among physician anesthesiologists, may be displayed.
Visit the
Physician Compare Initiative webpage for more information about which measures will be publicly reported and to download the
Guide to Physician Compare Period. Practices will only have until November 11, 2016 to review their data.
