CAWS Call for Member Nominations
The ASA Center for Anesthesia Workforce Studies (CAWS) focuses on tracking and reporting data relevant to the anesthesiology labor market. CAWS can be seen as an economic service focused on the anesthesia labor force that collects, cleans, analyses, and reports on key economic indicators for the health of this market. CAWS curates several data sources that are used for internal ASA analyses and that are reported out to members as data briefs. CAWS currently has two economists on staff who provide expertise in the collection, management, and reporting of economic data, of most value will be members who can complement and build upon these skillsets.
Interested members may submit their nomination to be a CAWS member through July 1, 2026 at 12 pm ET. Committee membership will likely be limited to 10-15 members.
