This conference will guide providers of all skill levels on best practices for both Regional Anesthesia (Day 1) and Point of Care Ultrasound (Day 2). Regional Anesthesia will consist of complex/innovative blocks as well as “bread and butter” blocks. The POCUS portion will offer a broad orientation to principles and clinical applications of cardiac, pulmonary, abdominal, and gastric ultrasound exams. The format will consist of focused lectures immediately followed by small group ultrasound scanning in live subjects to practice what was just covered in the lecture. This small group format encourages meaningful Q&A, plenty of time for hands on skill practice, and a low pressure environment.
