The ASA Leadership Academy assists physicians in recognizing and developing leadership qualities in themselves and members of the anesthesia care team. At the conclusion of Module 3, individuals will be able to demonstrate their executive presence and leadership abilities to strengthen their teams and organization.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and craft a set of positive core values that will inform and guide your daily behavior choices to achieve influential leadership.
  • Create a working purpose and mission statement.
  • Create a purposeful and intentional mindset of accountability.
  • Identify your behavioral characteristics to increase your performance and influence as a leader.
  • Identify and comprehend the key competencies to effective critical thinking.
  • Cultivate a set of behavior skills to increase your behavior intelligence.
  • Take note of the opportunities around you and reach out to others.
  • Use case studies to demonstrate the value of committing to continuous learning.
