Patient Safety Highlights 2016 - Errors in Pediatric Anesthesia: What Can We Learn From Our Mistakes?

This refresher course will deal with major errors in pediatric anesthesia that lead to bad patient outcomes. Database registries will be used to highlight some of the information.

These patient safety activities help fulfill the patient safety CME requirement for Part 2 of the Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® (MOCA) of The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA requirements.

Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® and MOCA® are registered certification marks of The American Board of Anesthesiology®.

CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS IN PATIENT SAFETY (CPPS)
This activity meets the criteria of the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety for 1.0 CPPS CE hours.
